Stavanger Jazz Forum / Maijazz is considered one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Norway and one of Stavanger's largest cultural events. From its humble beginnings in 1989 until today, Maijazz has established deep roots and secured its activities in the local cultural landscape. Each year, approximately 12,000 people attend the festival’s 40+ concerts.
